They all awkwardly bounce around and their faces do this weird whipping back and forth. I feel like the characters are also poorly animated. Donald duck shows teeth sometimes, but only to emote or stress a syllable. Mainly, the fact that the bird characters have 24/7 teeth. And while I get that some things are supposed to be more cartoony, some things are too unrealistic not to notice. Even one of the in-world characters knows there's something wrong. A lot of the characters' bodies are big blobs while their arms are barely existent and spindly. All of the characters here aren't just badly designed, but very poorly constructed. It has this overly-dramatic choir and it just kind of ripples in like some kind of hallucination.ģ.

The transition to the actual movie where Chicken Little is ringing the bell is just kind of off-putting to me. (N) I actually liked the Lion King bit, but you just reminded me of what I could have been watching.Ģ. You can tell that they're listening to the complaints of people who probably aren't even Disney fans, admitting that their original Disney feel is too fluffy for a contemporary audience. Other modern movies of that era like Bolt and Meet the Robinsons don't use traditional formulas, but they certainly don't put them down either. The first disturbing problem I see here is Disney throwing it's own method of storytelling under the bus with Buck Cluck's rejection of the 'once upon a time' and storybook methods.

I'll be doing it differently from the one I did for Frozen. We all have our opinions, and mine just happens to be a very nitpicky one. Heck, I actually liked it back when it first came out, so I figure it's not impossible to like. Like every other movie I express my dislike for, that doesn't mean you can't like this movie. I could keep going on in this paragraph, but I came here to list the problems one by one. It was released at a point where you knew Disney was going through another dark age, and the movie itself just feels like a parody of a Disney movie. You know what that means though, this movie has more problems than I thought!Īs you may have known from my list of least favorite Disney movies, Chicken Little is my all time least favorite.
